Project Details
- Pune University Main building was originally summer residence of Governor of Bombay, during the British Raj. The structure was built in 1864 and is a typical example of colonial architecture.
- This is a load bearing structure with composite masonry and comprises of huge articulately decorated meeting halls.
- Unique features are its grandeur and a tower block.
- The work on restoration including the interior furnishing is in final stages of execution.
