Project Details

• The Koyna Hydroelectric Project is the largest completed hydroelectric power plant in India. It is a complex project with four dams including the largest dam on the Koyna River, Maharashtra.
• Structwel was hired to carry out Condition Assessment of Dam Foot Power House, Turbo Generator Foundation, Draft Tube Gate Structure, Intake Gate Structure near Penstock & Tail Race Tunnel.
• The assignment also included Non-destructive Testing & Proposal of Remedial Measures with block budgetary cost.
